Mindfulness Challenge Week 5: Reading
Good morning beautiful people,
It's time to read!
This week’s challenge is to read 10 pages of a self improvement book. Reading provides inspiration and motivation. We can all use some og that, right?!
Reading also improves our ability to concentrate and focus, the brain is a muscle too! Regular reading reduces mental decline associated with age and helps keep our minds sharp.
Interestingly enough, reading also has been shown to improve the brain’s connectivity of the somatosensory cortex. What does this mean? Those who read improve their ability to respond to physical sensations. Another vote for being more present.
